Note: If you have upgraded to latest Windows 10 Insider Build 14986, then above method will not work.

Get Back Classic Paint App using Registry Editor [Method Two]

For that, you need to type regedit in the Start menu search bar. When regedit command appears in the search result click to run it.

When UAC screen appears, click Yes to continue.

2. Go to this location,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint\Settings

For quickly navigating to above entry, copy the above address and paste it in the Registry editor address bar.

Note: If you can’t see Settings key under Paint, then create one

3. Under Settings, Create a new 32-bit DWORD parameter and name it “DisableModernPaintBootstrap” and make sure you set its value to 1.
